About Red Route Studio

A Brief History

Red Route Studio was formed towards the end of 2010. Originally, called Red Route Media, we started out offering a mobile recording studio, digital photography, and multimedia services. The mobile recording studio sucessfully recorded several local bands, whilst playing live in pubs around Scarborough. The recordings were captured on hard disk and then transfered to computer to be mixed and mastered using Pro Tools or Cubase.

Red Route Media also produced a "life" story film for a client, this involved taking digital photographs together with various video clips, aranging them to music.

In 2013 family issues led to relocation to Ipswich. Ipswich has a vibrant music scene and the mobile studio has been brought back into use.

Future Plans

We are aiming to obtain premises for our recording studio in 2015, the studio will be designed to enable mobility. There is a lot of work still to do, and it has yet to be established whether the business will be a commercial, or, a social enterprise.
